Aprilanne Hurley - Brief Bio
"MADE IN CALIFORNIA" - Since 1991, Hurley has been producing commercials, Public Service Announcements, and Award Winning News Features. Before INSIDE LOOK TV, LLC, Hurley spent a few years as an on-camera Reporter for the “Marin Report,” a local Cable News Magazine Show focusing on community issues and topics involving Marin, and surrounding communities.
Hurley credits her production expertise to her related educational background which includes completion of the Broadcast Production Program with Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, and course work with the Broadcast Production Department at City College of San Francisco, CA. Hurley also held her Internship with CNN America, San Francisco, during which she gained invaluable experience in the field.
After relocating here over 17 years ago, Hurley considers California her home. "We're so lucky living here in California, we have great weather, beautiful views everywhere you look, and of course the relaxed California lifestyle, which is what "California Living" is all about! I do miss my family though, Hurley adds, who is the second oldest of eleven children, and aunt to over 45 nieces and nephews! "Growing up with eight sisters and two brothers has also taught me a lot about people, and life," says Hurley, who plays "tour guide" when family comes to visit.
THE PAST - PRESENT - AND FUTURE - In addition to producing "lifestyle inspired" content over the past two years - Hurley recognized a need to develop "Health & Wellness" programming which was launched this past season with great success. "People are hungry for good, sound information on fitness and nutrition - and they can find that here with us," remarks Hurley who is working on her third fitness video for CA Living - "Awesome Abs in 2 - Weeks."
Hurley is currently working on producing content for CA Living's 2008 Fall season which will include Travel & Leisure Specials focusing on the incredible destinations and relaxed lifestyle California has to offer. Food & Wine experiences will also be highlighted - with a look at ways viewers can enhance their dining experiences both out on the town and at home.
